30-Day Return Policy
We offer a 30-day return policy, meaning you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
Eligibility for Returns:
To be eligible, your item must be in the same condition that you received it: unworn or unused, with all original tags attached, and in its original packaging. You will also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
Return Process:
1. Contact us at return@seglagear.com to request authorization.
2. Upon acceptance, we will provide instructions on how and where to send your package.
3. Note: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.
4. Transport Costs: The customer is responsible for all return shipping costs. Shipping fees from the original order are non-refundable.
Paddle Limited Warranty (2-Year)
Segla Gear paddles are built for precision and strength. We provide a two- year (24-month) limited warranty against manufacturing defects from the date of purchase.
• Coverage: Structural failures of the blade, shaft, or ferrule system due to manufacturing flaws.
• Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damage from impacts (rocks, shorelines), "poling" (pushing off the ground), normal wear and tear (scratches/fading), modifications, or improper transport (roof rack damage).
• Assessment: Segla Gear reserves the sole right to determine if a failure is due to a defect or user-induced impact.
Essential & Accessory Line Warranty (2-Year)
For our Essential and Accessory lines, we offer an extended two-year (24-month) limited warranty. We believe your foundational gear should be as resilient as your ambition.
• Coverage: This covers defects in materials and workmanship, such as stitching failures, hardware malfunctions, or material delamination under normal use.
• Exclusions: Warranty does not cover damage caused by accidents, improper care, negligence, normal aesthetic wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colors and materials over extended time and use.
• Shipping: For all warranty claims, the customer is responsible for shipping the product to our inspection center.
Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon reception. Contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged, or if you receive the wrong item so we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
Non-Returnable Items
We cannot accept returns on:
• Custom Products: Special orders or personalized items.
• Sale Items & Gift Cards: All sale purchases and gift cards are final.
Exchanges
The most efficient way to exchange is to return the original item for a refund and place a new order immediately to ensure stock availability.
European Union 14-Day Cooling Off Period
For orders shipped to the EU, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days for any reason. Items must remain in original, unused condition. The customer remains responsible for return transport costs.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve inspected your return. Approved refunds are processed to your original payment method within 10 business days. Please allow additional time for your bank to post the transaction. If 15 business days have passed since approval, contact us at return@seglagear.com.
